Idruna Software Pocket Phojo 2.6 a Smash Hit at Wimbledon, Set To Go For Gold at the Olympics
Murrieta, CA - July 21st, 2004 - Idruna Pocket Phojo, the highly acclaimed Pocket PC solution specifically designed to allow photojournalists to get photos back to base as rapidly and conveniently as possible, proved an essential tool at Wimbledon 2004, where laptops were initially banned from the show courts due to space constraints.AFP, the world's oldest established news agency, and PA News, the UK leader in sports and news information, both used multiple Pocket PC systems running the Phojo software to transmit a total of 230-280 photos per day from the courts, every day for two weeks. Both agencies plan on repeating this success at the 2004 Olympics, as will many other newspapers and agencies from Greece and around the world.
