HP's New Notebook is the First with a CFast Slot

HP-with-Cfast.jpgIt may not be an essential feature at the moment due to the lack of cameras that use the updated CompactFlash format known as CFast, but if you're buying a laptop that you plan to use for the next five years, it doesn't hurt to be ready for the future.

The new EliteBook 8560w from HP looks to be the first laptop to offer an input for CFast cards, setting it apart from the competition. It's a 15.6 inch laptop that's made for those who use their laptop for business, content creation and other power-computing purposes; such as batch photo editing, etc.

The 8560w also boasts a backlit keyboard that allows you to keep working in the dark, support for AMD FirePro graphics, a gigabyte of dedicated video memory and a display that allows for more than a billion active colors.

HP's new line of laptops will be available in May, with the 8560w selling for approx. $1,349 US.
