How to Build Your Own DSLR Dolly with a Gorillapod and Rollerblade Wheels

Cineskates are designed to give you a nice smooth dolly on which to roll your camera. They're good for getting a DSLR into a strange position and even better for video recording. The downside is that, at least for now, they'll set you back $150.

Though the Cineskates are a pre-made setup that's almost guaranteed to be high-quality, those with the desire and the ability can create their own using some rollerblade wheels, and some bolts. It's not too difficult a DIY project, but you will need to drill into your Gorillapod.
