GoPro Details New MAX 360 Action Camera

Joining the company's recently announced HERO8, GoPro has also revealed its new MAX 360 Action Cam. Pre-orders are now live for $499.99 with shipments expected to launch by October 25.

The GoPro MAX is a dual lens action cam designed for versatile use as a 360 camera, a single lens HERO camera, and a vlogging camera. Supported shooting resolution and modes include 5.6K30 360 video, 1440p60 and 1080p60 HERO video, 1080p Live Streaming, 5.5MP HERO photos, and 6.2MP PowerPano photos.

In addition, the device offers Max HyperSmooth stabilization and in-camera horizon leveling, along with the ability to switch between four digital lenses. Likewise, the camera includes a Max TimeWarp function with variable speed capabilities. Premium 360 + Stereo Audio recording is also supported via six mics, and the unit is voice control enabled. Finally, the camera features a built-in front facing touchscreen and a rugged, waterproof construction (down to 16ft).
