Google Launches a More Streamlined Image Search
Previously, when clicking a picture you want to look at, it would open in a new page, but now that preview shows up right in line with the rest of the images you see, along with some basic information about the image. Thanks to the inline format, you can even use your keyboard to browse through images.
To visit the page that the image is hosted on, you simply need to click the image a second time. You can also click the domain name that's listed next to the picture. While one might think that this would lead to fewer visits to the source page, Google says that the click-through rate average doubled during their testing phase.
