GigaPan EPIC Pro Creates Panoramas with Ease

If you were as fascinated as I was with the 26 gigapixel panorama of Paris then you're probably itching to make an image like that of your own.  Lucky for you GigaPan Systems has announced the GigaPan EPIC Pro, which not only takes panoramic photos from a fixed position, but stitches them together automatically.

The EPIC pro works with almost all DSLR cameras, and can hold up to 10lbs.  It fits standard tripods and features an onboard bubble for simple alignment.  It can shoot each position as many as twenty times to make sure you get the best possible photo and it's got a full 360 degree range of motion with a -65/+90 tilt.

It's battery operated, so you don't have to worry about finding an outlet, and you can even pick up an optional remote trigger switch, so you can be elsewhere when you start the panorama going.  The GigaPan EPIC Pro robotic camera mount will be available in April for $895.
