FUJINON Announces XF 80mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens

Fujifilm_XF_80mmF2.8.jpg
Fujifilm has announced a new, lightweight F2.8 80mm mid-telephoto macro lens with weather sealing for operating in dusty or wet conditions all the way down to 14°F/-10°C. This lens is constructed with 16 elements in 12 groups, including one aspherical lens, one Super ED lens, and three ED lenses and also boasts a fluorine coating to reduce smudging. With built-in optical image stabilization and a Floating Focus System, you can expect up to 5-stops of exposure compensation as well as less chromatic aberration. Lastly, that speedy F2.8 max aperture should produce some lovely bokeh.

Looking forward to checking this one out.
