Fuji-x100-lens.jpgIf you can't wait to get your hands on the new Fuji FinePix X100 compact camera we don't blame you. It's absolutely gorgeous.

The folks over at Fujifilm have been leaking information slowly but surely, and have put up a page going over the camera's lens in tremendous detail.

It's an f/2.0 optic that's used on the camera, with a nine blade aperture diaphragm, and a four blade shutter system that results in a max speed of 1/4000s. The X100 uses an aspheric lens with a large amount of spherical elements.

You can find the full rundown over at Fujifilm. It's only chapter one of the X100 story, so keep checking back for more updates.
