Fujifilm Unveils FinePix S5000 with 10X Zoom

VALHALLA, NY, July 29, 2003 - Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. today announced the launch of the FinePix S5000, a consumer digital SLR camera model. The camera carries Fujifilm's proprietary Super CCD HR (High Resolution) sensor, offering 3.1 million effective pixels for crisp, vivid images. The FinePix S5000 also offers a 10x optical zoom (equivalent to a 37-370mm on a 35mm camera) and 2.2x digital zoom (at 1280 x 960 pixels), allowing photo enthusiasts to capture images of distant subjects.
