Fujifilm Details X-A7 Mirrorless Camera

Fujifilm has announced pricing and availability for its newest X-Series mirrorless camera model, the X-A7. The camera will be available as part of a kit with a FUJINON XC15-45mmF3.5- 5.6 OIS PZ lens starting October 24 for an MSRP of $699.95.

The X-A7 features a compact and light design, weighing only 11.3 ounces without a lens attached and about 1 pound with the included kit lens attached. Under the hood, the device uses a 24.2MP imaging sensor with 8.5 times more phase detection pixels than the sensor found on the Fujifilm X-A5. Enhanced face-detection, fast autofocus, and support for 6 FPS stills capture are all implemented as well. And when it comes to video, the unit supports 4K30P recording with enhanced data readout speed for reduced rolling shutter effect.
