Flip Video Upgrades FlipShare, Adds a Video Greeting Card App

The folks at Flip are making some upgrades just in time for the holidays. Next Wednesday, December 15th, the FlipShare software that's included with every Flip camcorder will be updated to add video greeting cards to its list of features.

The Flip greeting card functionality adds over forty new designs for all types of occasions like anniversaries, birthdays and - just in time - Christmas. It's simple enough to use too. Simply pick your frame, add some text to go with your video and send it on out.

If you've got the FlipShare software installed on your computer, you'll be prompted to update on the 15th when it goes live.

For those out there that aren't Flip users but still want the greeting card functionality, you're in luck. Flip will be adding a free greeting card creator to its Facebook page.
