Final Cut Pro X Released - Limited Functionality Earns Negative Reviews
Professionals and amateurs alike have
been looking forward to the release of Apple's latest video editing
software, and with all that Apple revealed about it, the launch was
expected to be a time for celebration. That was not the case,
however, as Final Cut Pro X earned incredibly negative reviews.Every new piece of software is met with criticism from hardcore users, and poor reviews are no surprise in the first few days, but Final Cut Pro X has been called unusable by some, and been criticized by professionals as being too dumbed down.
Even worse, Final Cut Pro X isn't backwards compatible. That means that the projects you created in previous versions of Final Cut can't be moved to Final Cut Pro X. That makes the new program all but useless for some folks.
