Eye-Fi Announces a 16GB Class 10 Wireless Memory Card

The folks at Eye-Fi have kicked things up a notch with their new Eye-Fi Pro X2 card. For starters, it's double the size of the previous card, with a total of 16GB. It's not just storage that has improved though, the Eye-Fi Pro X2 is a Class 10 card which means you'll get even better read and write speeds.

Yuval Koren, CEO of Eye-Fi, says that the increasing file size of both photos and videos inspired the change. "Customers already know and love our Eye-Fi cards for instant wireless uploads," he says, "so the added space and faster speeds are a great addition, especially with the highest-volume photo days coming up."
