Epson Announces SureColor P400 13 Inch Desktop Photo Printer

Epson has announced the SureColor P400, a new 13 Inch Desktop Photo Printer. This new model uses an eight-color Epson UltraChrome HG2 pigment ink set that includes Red and Orange inks for deeper reds and better colors, and also includes dedicated channels for both Matte and Photo Black inks to provide richer black tones.

The new SureColor P400 is designed to be great for Photographers needing high quality prints, and allows users to print borderless photos of up to 13x19" on a variety of paper types. Improved media handling also allows for panoramas over 10 feet long on roll paper, and supports printing directly on to canvass, art boards and CD/DVDs.

This new printer also supports multiple connectivity options including USB, Wireless N, Wi-Fi Direct and Ethernet. The Epson SureColor P400 will be available immediately from authorized Epson Dealers at a suggested list price of $599, and includes a one year whole-unit exchange limited warranty plan.
