Epson Unveils Updated R-D1s

LetsGoDigital reports that Epson Japan has announced an update to their unique R-D1 digital rangefinder camera. The R-D1s employs a large area 6-megapixel sensor, has a 2-inch LCD monitor and uses interchangeable Leica M or L bayonette mount lenses. The R-D1s and its predecessor fit into a very small, niche market mainly because of its pricing, the R-D1 sells for US and the price of the new R-D1s has not yet been given.
