DxO Announces a New HDR Plug-In

Optics Pro 6.5, which is coming out in November, includes single shot HDR functionality that will allow you to get that HDR effect using just one photo. For full-on HDR photos that merge multiple shots though, you'll need the new DxO HDR plug-in.

In addition to getting HDR from multiple RAW images, the DxO HDR plug-in provides automatic image alignment for when you're shooting handheld and ghost removal which accounts for moving objects.

DxO also offers impressive noise reduction. "DxO Optics Pro's best of breed noise removal applied on a merged photo, whose noise has already been significantly reduced by the virtue of merging photos, produces an image of outstanding quality," explains marketing director Cyrille de La Chesnais.

DxO HDR-Plug-in will be released in November of this year. Pricing is not yet available.
