DJI Announces the Phantom 3 4K and Inspire 1 Pro Black Edition - Drone Platforms for Aerial Photography

DJI is a familiar name if you are interested in Aerial Photography, as they are the Premiere Manufacturer of Drones like the Phantom and Inspire lines that many photographers rely on to get photos and videos of their subjects from the air.

This week, DJI announced that it is expanding its product line with new models in response to consumer demand, launching the new Phantom 3 4K, and the Inspire 1 Pro Black Edition.

Phantom 3 4K

p3_4k.jpegThe DJI Phantom 3 4K is a 4K Wi-Fi edition of DJI's popular easy-to-fly Phantom 3 Series and is designed to be their most accessible 4K aerial camera platform to date.

DJI says that the new Phantom 3 4K combines the best features from earlier Phantom models, along with the most popular features of their more advanced models, in a package being offered at a very attractive price. This new model comes with their integrated, H3-3D gimbal and 4K camera, ultrasonic sensors, remote control with buttons for playback, video recording and camera shutter activation. The Phantom 3 4K can stay aloft for up to approx. 25 minutes and is designed to help bring high-quality aerial photography to more users.

DJI Inspire 1 Pro Black Edition

inspire1_pro_black.jpegDJI also announced that they are introducing style changes to their Inspire 1 line of drones, and are introducing the Inspire 1 Black Edition in response to popular demand from the professional filmmaker community.

The Inspire 1 Black Edition comes with a shell, controller and battery in a high-quality matte black finish, and is complete with DJI's best-in-class Micro Four Thirds Camera - the Zenmuse X5. It also features their proven H3-3D gimbal system, for super smooth video while soaring in the air.

The Inspire 1 Pro Black Edition will initially be available to customers in all regions except Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Ireland. It will be available at DJI dealers before launching on the DJI online store.
