Digital Photo Frames Top the List of Unwanted Gifts

Digital Frame.jpgYou know how it is. You want to get the parents or the grandparents on top of all the new tech you've been using and give them something to show off while they're at it. A digital picture frame seems like the perfect idea.

According to the British Video Association though, digital frames are the number one unwanted gift this holiday season. As the BVA's Simon Heller tells British newspaper The Telegraph, "Many of the gadget gaffes cited by our study are gifts that have a lot of novelty appeal, but perhaps a limited shelf life."

The survey shows that out of the 2,000 people interviewed, nearly a third had received a gadget for Christmas that has since gone unused. Among those listed alongside digital frames - bread makers, candy floss makers, coffee machines and desktop vacuum cleaners.
