Digital Film Tools Releases Rays Plug-in and iPhone App

DFT-Rays.jpgIf you've ever taken a picture that lacks that certain something, you're not alone. The latest release from Digital Film Tools helps to add that kick that you might be missing. It adds, as the name implies, ray-like lighting effects and shafts of light.

Using the plug-in for Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom and Aperature, you're able to get into the nitty gritty and control things like beam length, customize color, randomize placement, and modify a variety of settings. It's available from Digital Film Tools for $49.

The iPhone and iPad application is a little shallower in terms of control, but you can still change the color of rays, adjust the direction, and set thresholds to determine where rays will and will not be visible. It's available from the iTunes App Store for 99 cents.
