Delkin Introduces Faster, Less Expensive CardBus Adapters Including Multi-Card Version With Mac Support

Poway CA, February 18, 2005 Delkin Devices Inc. announces three enhancements to their line of eFilm CardBus adapters. CardBus adapters enable memory cards to work in the PC Card slot on most Windows and Mac based laptops, and uses the high speed CardBus PCMCIA standard. New drivers are now available for the CompactFlash CardBus 32-bit PCMCIA adapter that significantly increase the CompactFlash CardBus’s transfer speeds in PCs. The CompactFlash CardBus adapter has been reduced to just .99, and is available for immediate delivery.

Delkin Devices also announced the company’s new 5 in 1 eFilm CardBus adapter. The 5 in 1 adapter is first to provide CardBus transfer speeds to the xD memory card format. Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro memory card formats are also supported. The 5 in 1 CardBus adapter MSRP will be .99, with shipments commencing the week of March 7th, 2005.

Delkin Introduces SD-Xtra Card

Poway CA, February 18, 2005 Delkin Devices announced the SD-Xtra card which allows effortless transfers between any SD slot and any USB port. The innovative design allows photos, music or data to transfer easily without the use of a reader/writer or cables. Built into this SD card format is a USB 2.0 high-speed flash drive in capacities from 128MB to 1GB. With the removable cover installed, the card plugs into any standard SD or MMC card slot in kiosks, cameras, PDA’s or Digital Music players. When the cover is removed, the card becomes a USB thumb or flash drive. This drive plugs into any standard PC or laptop USB port and is read like a disk drive.
