Consumer Level 3D Camcorder From JVC is Here at $1,699

If you've had your sights set on 3D video, the wait for a high-quality camera at a reasonable price is over. The launch of JVC's impressive GS-TD1 consumer level 3D camcorder is official and you can pick up the 3D camera now.

It doesn't do 3D in 1080p, but offers 1080i recording on a pair of 3.32 megapixel CMOS sensors. You'll find an F1.2 JVC 3D Twin HD GT lens at the front that, in tandem with the sensors, allows for what JVC calls "outstanding low light performance."

The GS-TD1 sports 64GB of built-in memory, 5x optical zoom, an automatic stabilization system and a 3.5 inch touch panel monitor that lets you keep an eye on your shot without the need for glasses.

You can pick up the GS-TD1 now for $1,669.
