CES Comes to a Close

As I type this, most of the show's attendees should be safely home from the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which ended late last Thursday in Las Vegas. Manufacturers from various arenas in the electronics industry unveiled their latest and greatest products at the show, including over 45 new digital cameras! We did our best to cover each and every model from the major manufacturers, with a compiled list available on our CES 2013 Show Report page.

Each year we see a specific trend in new camera technologies, with the past few years focusing on HD video and 3D. However, for 2013 Wi-Fi connectivity and the ability to control your camera from your Android or iOS smart device seemed to take the stage this year. That said, there were a lot of very cool cameras announced, and we've got our previews posted for most all of them. Be sure to check out each model, and look back in the coming months as we update these pages once we start to receive full production units in for testing.

The next big photography show is CP+ in Yokohama Japan, which runs from Jan. 31st - Feb. 3rd. Stay tuned, as it's possible we'll see even more new products announced at CP+.
