Canon's New 600EX-RT Wireless Speedlight is Coming in March - Available for Preorder Now

Accessory news tends to get overshadowed by the announcement of a new camera. It's fair, of course. New cameras bring a kind of excitement that tripods and transmitters just can't match. Still, while you're drooling over the new 5D Mk III, you should also take a look at their latest speedlight.

The 600EX-RT offers up a brand new wireless flash system that uses 2.4 Ghz radio signals, which allows the use of up to five groups of slave flashes. The head is also made to be more durable than previous models, as well as to resist both weather and dust.

You can preorder the 600EX-RT now for $629. The speedlight will be released later this month.
