Canon USA Announces their "Why Do You Love Football?" Amateur Photo Contest
Football season is knocking at our door, with the first game of the regular NFL season starting next week (Saints vs Vikings on Sep. 9th). To celebrate, Canon USA and the Pro Football Hall of Fame have teamed up to kick off an amateur photo contest called "why do you love football?". Divided into two divisions (Adults 18 and up / Teens 13-17), the "why do you love football?" challenge offers two categories for entrants to participate in; Action and Feature. Action is focused more on the hustle and bustle of players on the field, while the Feature category centers on photos from outside game play.
Entrants are allowed to enter up to 10 of their best "Youth Football" photos from Sep. 2nd to Dec. 1st, 2010. The winning photogs from both categories will have the opportunity to attend Super Bowl XLV in North Texas as well as visit the 2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Celebration. Winners will be announced in early January of 2011.
