Canon Updates Their EOS Rebel DSLR Line with the New Rebel T7i

Canon_T7i_EFS18-55_IS_STM_FLASH_1200px.jpgCanon has just updated their legendary EOS Rebel line, with the new Rebel T7i. While considered an "entry-level" DSLR, it's hard to see that when you look at the T7i's specifications.

This new Rebel model is loaded with impressive features, namely a new 45-point, all cross-type AF system. Combined with their DIGIC 7 processor, the T7i boasts the world's fastest AF focusing speed of 0.03 seconds (a claim it shares with its EOS 77D sibling).

Other features include:
  • Pentamirror optical viewfinder
  • 24.2-Megapixel CMOS (APS-C) Image Sensor
  • Dual Pixel CMOS AF System in Live View mode
  • ISO 100-25600
  • Built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth technologies
  • 3.0-inch Vari-angle, Touch Screen LCD
  • Burst shooting at up to 6 frames per second
  • Available in April, 2017
