Canon Teams With Technicolor for DSLR Movie Magic

Technicolor.jpgOver the last year or two, the idea of shooting a film using DSLR cameras instead of traditional video cameras has gone from laughable to practical and even desirable. It's a big transition, and one that's been embraced by people on all sides of the industry.

Technicolor has made big strides toward making DSLRs easier to use for both movies and television shows with a new suite of creative tools made for projects using Canon cameras.

"Technicolor, once again, is taking an innovative leadership position by their very forward-looking development of tools and workflows to support the deployment of Canon's EOS DSLR's into motion picture production," says former American Society of Cinematographers president Daryn Okada.

The new Cine Style suite from Technicolor will be revealed at the NAB show in Las Vegas, April 11th-14th.
