Canon Rumors Abound: Mirrorless, Full-Frame and 4K Cameras for 2012

There's a lot going on in the world of digital cameras. Technology and trends are moving fast and there's no reason to believe that Canon is going to let that all pass them by. Rumor has it we'll be seeing plenty from Canon in 2012, including some very cool new products.

First off, Canon is expected to create their first mirrorless camera for release in August of 2012. As far as rumors go, this one seems like a no-brainer. Mirrorless cameras are dominant in Japan and they're picking up in the US, so it makes perfect sense that Canon would want a piece of the action.

The other cameras that are in the works - allegedly - are a new full-frame camera to fill in the entry-level price range and a DSLR that's capable of recording video in 4K resolution.
