Canon Releases Information About Upcoming EOS 5D Mark II Firmware Update

Canon has just announced that a new firmware update for their popular EOS 5D Mark II will be launched sometime this month. They claim that firmware upgrade 2.0.3 will help the 5DMkII meet the demands of both professional and aspiring filmmakers by adding a 24p video acquisition option as well as changing the 30p video frame rate to 29.97fps to comply with TV production standards. In addition to this, they have enhanced the audio capability of the 5DMkII by adding manual audio level control, and increasing the audio sampling frequency from 44.1KHz to 48KHz.
