Canon Picks up Awards Like Crazy in 2012

It's no surprise that a company like Canon would earn itself some awards, but this year the company did very well for itself indeed. In addition to awards for its consumer cameras, Canon even pulled in an Emmy for "Improvements to Large Format CMOS Imagers for Use in High Definition Broadcast Video Cameras."

"We are extremely pleased to have received so many awards and industry recognitions from various industry organizations spanning product review, customer service and corporate initiatives," says Canon's Bunji Yano. "These awards and recognitions exemplify our commitment to not only providing high-quality products and services, but also our dedication to our customers and the environment as well."

When Yano references the environment, he's talking about the company's selection as one of the 50 Best Global Green Brands according to Interbrand. Canon was also placed in the top five for Fortune's Most Admired Companies list. Well done Canon, well done.
