Canon HDSLR Video Workshops Start May 24th

Canon's spring Live Learning workshops have begun and the latest addition to the lineup starts soon. Canon's new HDSLR video workshops, called "Deconstructing the Story", are intensive three-day learning opportunities that give you the chance to learn from pros and get your hands on the latest gear.

On the first day of each session, you'll be given instruction and then break out into learning stations, each with a different focus relating to the process of shooting video. Audio, lighting, camera movement, composition, story boarding and editing will all be covered.

Day two will focus on creation. Students will have a chance to review what they did on day one and will then have the rest of the day to plan and shoot their own short film. The final day will focus on workflow, editing, color correction and other post-production essentials.

The first of these workshops kicks off on May 24 in Orlando, Florida. More will follow in Cincinnati, New York, Austin and Seattle.
