Canon Announces Two New SX-Series Super-Zoom Cameras: the SX160 and SX500

Canon USA has just released information about two new PowerShot digital cameras that boast some impressive features; along with appealing price tags. Both the PowerShot SX500 and SX160 share similar specifications, offering 16-megapixels of resolution, 3.0-inch LCD screens, HD video capabilities, Smart Auto exposure control, and Canon's Intelligent Optical Image Stabilization. The SX500 sports a 30x Canon Zoom lens in a slightly larger body with a dSLR feel, while the SX160 offers a shorter 16x Canon Zoom lens packaged into a more compact body.
