Canon Adds a Dedicated Professional Service Center


If you're a full time photographer, you're going to need full-time support.  After all, if your gear breaks down or just malfunctions, it's not just your hobby on the line - it could be your job.  That's why Canon has added a third service center in Virginia that's dedicated exclusively to professional services.

With the addition of the new service center, the Canon Professional Services (CPS) hotline has been extended to operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.  They've even added a separate number for pros travelling internationally.

Canon has also added a Rush Repair service, which will offer two and three day turnarounds for professionals in the regions served by the new center.  "This marks the most extensive and comprehensive level of service and support Canon U.S.A. has been able to provide to our Professional customers to date," says executive vice president Yuichi Ishizuka.  "We take great pride in providing top-notch service and support to all of our customers through our 100-percent US-based customer service and support facilities."
