Canon 7D Used for the Stop-Motion Episode of 'Community'

Community.jpg'Community' is a show that makes a habit out of breaking tradition. As the show changes genres, like in the warlike paintball episode or the hilarious Halloween episode, the cinematography changes to match. Different lenses are used, different camera techniques and different lighting.

For the Christmas episode, the cast of 'Community' is going to be portrayed in claymation, Rankin/Bass style. To capture the footage, the crew used a Canon EOS 7D - something that seems to be increasingly common in both film and television.

You can check out a "making of" segment on YouTube, but you'll get a better look at the camera and lens in the behind the scenes footage shot by the cast.
