Canon Posts Notice About Powershot G2 / G2 Black "Crack" Phenomenon
There has been some people who were worried about their Powershot G2 / G2 Black cameras due to a small crack in the rear of the body case. Canon has posted the following notice:
- "To Our Valued PowerShot G2 Customers: Thank you for your patronage of Canon Digital Cameras. Canon has regrettably confirmed Internet reports of a 'crack in the rear cover' in some samples of the Canon PowerShot G2/G2 Black model cameras.
Please be advised of the following information:
This phenomenon does not appear in all PowerShot G2/G2 Black model cameras. This phenomenon has no influence on the camera's functions or image quality. If there is a crack in the rear cover of your camera, please click here for repair details."
