Canon Introduces New XL1S Digital Camcorder

Canon U.S.A. Inc., Lake Success, N.Y., unveiled their new 3 CCD XL1S digital video (DV) camcorder, it contains 27 more features than the Canon XL1. Canon said the XL1S model has improved picture quality and is the only DV camcorder that can be customized to the needs of the videographer and to specific shooting applications, by changing lenses, viewfinders and shoulder mounts. The new Canon XL1S kit, which includes a 16x IS II zoom lens and color viewfinder, will be available this month for a suggested ,699.
