Callisto Introduces Photo Browser by PhotoParade

Natick, Mass., May 30, 2002 -- Callisto Corporation today released Photo Browser by PhotoParade, an easy-to-use photo management tool designed to make it painless for photo enthusiasts to organize, find, and view their digital photos.

Photo Browser solves the problem anyone who has accumulated lots of digital photos has in keeping track of them. Photo Browser automatically creates a thumbnail view of each photo so users can quickly and easily browse through them. The thumbnails can be rearranged in any order the user wants using drag and drop. Photo Browser's bookmark feature gives users a convenient way to navigate to the photo folders they use most often.

Photo Browser's powerful search capability makes it simple to locate photos by filename, keyword, description, and date. An unlimited number of keywords can be assigned to any photo, and descriptions can be added to both photos and folders, making it simple to search for that information later. Users can designate photos as favorites for easy searching, and can choose photos to be displayed as folder covers, creating a visual reminder of the photos stored in that folder.

With Photo Browser's management tools, photos can be renamed individually or in batches, deleted, rotated with no loss of information, and even turned into desktop wallpaper. Detailed information about the photo (date and time taken, shutter speed, aperture, and resolution) can be viewed if available.
