C-Guys Introduces Ultra High Speed SD Memory Cards and High Speed USB 2.0 Adapter
San Jose, CA – November 30, 2004 – C-guys, Inc., a global leader in the design and development of SD and SDIO solutions for home, SOHO and SMB applications today announced its 20MB/s SD memory cards. The cards are available in storage capacities of 1GB (CG-SDM01G01) and 512MB (CG-SDM51201) and are designed to increase data transfer speeds for SD-friendly devices such as digital cameras, PDAs, mobile phones and other portable electronics devices. When coupled with the C-guys SD-USBean card reader, users can quickly convert media stored on a mobile device such as a digital camera or smart phone to the industry standard USB and download or upload content to a PC or printer. The SD-USBean is one of the only high-speed media reader / writer solutions on the market. Other readers only support up to 10MB/s, which can cause a serious bottleneck and degrade performance. The SD-USBean is twice as fast and allows for increased data transfer speeds. The product is a true plug and play device and no installation drivers are required.
