Bibble v2.99 Released - Nikon D1X Support

If you own or use a Nikon D1, Canon D30 or Olympus E-10 and want to get the most out of its RAW mode then you better give the Bibble program a look-see. Bibble is a professional-quality photo-editing program designed to extract maximum quality from raw files generated by top of the line Digital SLRs. Currently supported cameras include the Nikon D1/D1x, as well as the Canon D30.

With Bibble, you can browse and read raw *.nef,*.crw files as well as standard .jpegs, manipulate them and save them out as 8 bit Jpegs or 16/8 bit tiffs. All color calculations are done internally in 16-Bit precision and thus any image manipulations done on any image in Bibble will have superior results to those performed in a standard 8-bit image program.

When browsing images, from your camera, Bibble will display the thumbnails lightning fast. If some of the jpegs in the directory are from other sources, thumbnails for them will be generated "in the background" will you are browsing and the thumbs will appear as they are ready.

Version 2.99 New Features:

  • Support for D1X Raw Files. Includes 10 Megapixel mode!
  • All New demosaicing resulting in higher resolution Crw/Nef files.
  • 2001 Color profile for the D1. The most accurate yet.
  • Raw Sharpening applied by default (Sharpen:standard)
  • Dramatic reduction in ambient and shadow noise in all raw files.
