Best Buy's Online Price Matching Policy Becomes Permanent
Online retailers like Amazon are a big
problem for Best Buy, especially with the availability and capability
of smartphones. Customers can go into Best Buy to try something out,
but buy it cheaper on Amazon, even when they're standing right in the
store. Best Buy knows this, and the company is adapting to help stop
customers from going elsewhere.Best Buy instated a policy over Christmas that allowed stores to match online retailers and as of March 3rd, that policy will be permanent. The company doesn't specify which sites will be matched, but they do give Amazon as an example. This should be a boon to anyone picking up new equipment, especially if it's something you can't wait on.
