Behind the Scenes at DxO's Testing Facility

The folks at DxO are intense about cameras and lenses. You can probably tell based on their very specific software created specifically to correct for aberrations in lenses and cameras which are, in some cases, visible only to people that know they're there.

Last week, Cnet took a tour of the DxO facility to find out just how intense they really are, and DxO didn't disappoint. The labs and processes are incredibly intensive, but some of the conclusions go against what camera enthusiasts may expect. It's a long read, but a really good one.
