Apple Announces new iMac, MacBook Pro and Updated Mac Mini

iMac-2012.jpgIt's a big day for Apple fans, who now have a bevy of fancy new products to drool over.  Some of the new upgrades are crazy exciting, but some are a bit more hum-drum, like the new Mac Mini. The line features new processors, more memory, and connections for both USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt with pricing starting at $599.

More interesting to the folks that like to take their work with them is the 13 inch MacBook Pro that packs a Retina display with a resolution of 2,560 by 1,600. That's a crazy amount of pixels for such a small screen, which should help to satisfy even the most demanding of customers.

Finally, Apple revealed the ridiculously thin new iMac. You can pick up a 21.5 1080p or a 27 inch 2,560 by 1,440 model, both of which can be upgrades to 3TB of hard drive space or a 768GB SSD for ultra-fast data recall.

Everything starts shipping in November, save the iMac which is expected to be in stores this December.
