Apple and Google Team to Buy Kodak Patents

Apple and Google are rivals in practically every market they can be. Set-top boxes, web browsers, operating systems, tablets and phones - the two compete for everything. When it comes to Kodak's huge amount of patents though, the two don't mind teaming up

The two companies are joining forces to offer over $500 million to Kodak for a huge amount of digital imaging patents. The type of patent isn't a surprise due to the popularity of smartphones as imaging devices, but the teamup may come as a shock. There's no word from either company yet on the specifics.
