The new Digita Desktop Acquire module now makes it possible for the KODAK DC220 and DC260 Zoom Cameras, Universal Serial Bus (USB)-compatible cameras, to connect directly to iMac and Power Macintosh Computers. The USB cable shipped with the cameras is iMac-ready. This DIGITA Desktop Acquire also supports USB and serial connectivity on the Power Macintosh. USB requires an APPLE recommended USB PCI card and MacOS 8.5 or later.
The Digita Desktop Acquire module was developed by FLASHPOINT TECHNOLOGY Inc., makers of the powerful DIGITA? Operating Environment used by the KODAK DC220 and DC260 Zoom Cameras. The module leverages industry-compatible USB connectivity to give iMac users the ability to transfer megapixel picture files quickly and easily.
