Another Stunning Supercell Time-Lapse

A couple weeks ago, Basehunters Chasing took social media by, ahem, storm when they released an incredible, dramatic time-lapse of a supercell thunder storm forming in the skies over Oklahoma on May 18th. Their video is exhilarating, allowing viewers to feel the terror and tension of storm chasing:

Today, we have another stunning supercell time-lapse video to share with you.

Photographed and edited by still & motion photographer, Stephen Locke, The Climax, Kansas Supercells also features footage captured in America's heartland from earlier in the month. And though the viewing angle isn't directly in the storm's path, Mr. Locke takes a more cinematic approach to his compositions, editing together multiple storms to give viewers a wonderful sense of scale and scope. Mother Nature at her most grand. Simply breathtaking.
