Akvis Releases ArtWork 6.0 with New Pastel Effects

Taking great photos is an art, and so is the subtle manipulation of those photos to bring them to perfection. And while that's fine for some, others would rather apply dramatic effects to their pictures to more closely resemble an older definition of the word "art."

ArtWork v.6.0 lets you manipulate your photos to make them look like watercolors, oil paintings, prints and more with simple commands. Of course, you can add personal touches by using the Stroke Direction tool the Smudge tool to change the look of your new piece of art.

New to Version 6.0 of the program is the Pastel effect. It gives your photo the qualities of a pastel creation and includes nine different settings already programmed in for ease of use. Another new addition to 6.0 is batch processing, which allows you to change several photos at once instead of having to go through each one individually.
