Adobe Lightroom 4 is Now Available as a Free Public Beta

If you're dying to get your hands on the latest and greatest from Adobe, here's your chance. The upcoming Lightroom 4 is available now as a public beta, meaning that you can go download a nearly complete version from Adobe and use it to your heart's content.

Lightroom 4 brings plenty of new features to the table, starting with a brand new tonal adjustment that takes the entire dynamic range into consideration as well as noise reduction, moire and white balance controls.

You'll also be able to enjoy native video support, which lets you trim clips and pull individual frames if you so desire. Adobe says that many, but not all of the Lightroom controls can be applied to video. You can export video as H.264 or directly to Facebook or Flickr.

You can download the beta version of Lightroom 4 absolutely free from Adobe.
