Adobe Launches Lightroom 4

After a few months in public beta, Lightroom 4 is finally available. The program is designed as a complete workflow solution for digital photographers and boasts several improvements from previous versions.

For starters, you can maximize your dynamic range to reveal detailed shadows and highlights. Adobe has also improved auto adjustments for contrast, added templates for photo books, introduces new geotagging abilities and tacks on native video support for good measure.

Lightroom runs $149 for the full version and $79 for the upgrade and $79 for students and teachers. You can pick it up now directly through Adobe or, starting March 10^th, from Amazon.
