Adobe Introduces Creative Suite 5.5 and Subscription Pricing

The folks at Adobe introduced a new product line designed for designers and developers that focus on smartphones and tablets. This marks the first mid-cycle rollout for Adobe, and more interestingly, the introduction of subscription pricing.

Now, instead of having to shell out a large up-front payment for Adobe CS5, you can make payments. It's an effort from Adobe to make their products more affordable and to better serve people with project-based needs instead of constant needs.

If you need Photoshop, you can get it for as little as $35 a month. Those looking to get Design Premium CS5.5 can buy it straight out for $1,799 or subscribe for $95 monthly. The Master Collection runs $2,599 or $129 a month.
