Addonics CFast Cards Transfer at 100MB/s

The newest release from Addonics is all about speed.  Their new CFast compact flash cards sport a SATA interface and offer improved performance over traditional cards.

While the CFast cards still maintain the standard CF form factor, they employ a SATA interface to achieve a transfer rate of 100MB/s, which is twice that of other CF cards.  The write speed is a slower, but still substantial, 40MB/s.

The strange thing about the CFast cards is that they're only available in two sizes.  You can pick up an 8GB card for $98.40, while you'll pay a comparatively cheap $189.60 for a 32GB card.

Addonics also sells a CFast memory adapter for connecting the memory cards to an eSATA  or eSATA USB Hybrid port.
