A Search for the Owners of Film Found in New York Blizzard

Every once in a while, between all the gear releases and exciting new cameras, we come across a story that's just plain nice - something that warms the heart.

Todd Beiber was cross country skiing through Prospect Park in Brooklyn after the blizzard in New York when he came across a canister of undeveloped film. Since there was nothing to identify the owner and no one was around who might have dropped it, Todd took the film, developed it, and is trying to find the owners.

Surprisingly, though the pictures on the roll seem like something shot by vacationers, they're actually quite good. The shots are in black and white and make great use of the snowy backdrop.

As of this writing, Beiber has not yet found the photographer in question, but is hoping to find him and then return the film.
